Skill Development & Student Empowerment
E- LIBRARY
In the digital age, e-libraries have transformed how students access information, offering convenience and flexibility to explore resources anytime, anywhere. These libraries provide vast collections that help students enhance their knowledge, research skills, and academic performance, while also reducing costs by eliminating the need for expensive textbooks. At Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School, we have subscribed to DELNET for the past three years, supporting academic research and education. Integrating this e-library into our learning environment offers students a rich, accessible, and flexible resource for their academic growth.

PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT
To help students make informed subject and career choices, Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School conducts the 'Tamana' Aptitude Test (by NCERT) and the Career Preference Record Interest Test. These psychometric assessments evaluate students' abilities across seven areas—Language, Abstract, Verbal, Mechanical, Numerical, Spatial, and Perceptual Aptitudes—and gauge their interests in various career paths. The Counselling Department prepares individual reports for all Class 10 students, helping them understand their strengths and weaknesses. These reports guide students in selecting the most suitable stream and career path based on their aptitude, interests, and academic potential.
SELF DEFENSE TRAINING
Empowering Girls through Self-Defense Training
In line with our commitment to student safety, Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School offers self-defense training in collaboration with volunteers from the Delhi Police. This initiative empowers girl students with the skills and confidence to protect themselves in challenging situations. The program goes beyond physical techniques, promoting psychological resilience, intellectual preparedness, and physical strength, ensuring girls are aware and ready for their surroundings. Targeted at students from classes VI to XII, it teaches practical self-defense techniques using everyday items. This training boosts confidence and self-reliance, reduces vulnerabilities, and supports students’ transition to higher education, contributing to lower dropout rates. Ultimately, it fosters a safer, more empowering environment for our girls, helping them move forward with confidence and courage.

STUDENT-LED CONFERENCE
STUDENT-LED CONFERENCE
The student-Led Conference (SLC) at our school, an initiative by the
LEAD group, empowers students by allowing them to take ownership of their learning. It helps
students reflect on their achievements, challenges, and progress, building confidence and essential
skills like goal-setting and personal responsibility.
For parents, the SLC offers a personalized view of their child’s academic journey, providing deeper
insights than traditional parent-teacher meetings. This strengthens the home-school partnership and
supports the child's development. The SLC also encourages parents to engage with LEAD’s resources,
fostering involvement in their child’s overall growth. It is a valuable tool for student development
and parent engagement.
