CAREER FAIR EVENT
The Career Fair serves as an invaluable platform for students to explore diverse career opportunities. It is more than just an event; it's a gateway to possibilities and opportunities. It's where dreams meet reality; aspirations find direction, and students and professionals alike come together to explore the vast landscape of their future careers. It's a melting pot of ambitions, a hub of networking, and a platform for knowledge exchange.

Objectives:
- To provide students with an opportunity to explore a variety of career options, helping students gain insights into different industries and professions.
- To gather information about potential career paths, educational requirements, and the skills needed for success in respective fields.
- To inspire and motivate students by reading success stories and real-world examples of individuals who have excelled in their chosen careers.
- To make the student learn importance of presentation and soft skills.
Kamal Model Senior Secondary school is one of the pioneer schools to establish
Career Guidance Cell in the year 2013 which is continuing till date.
Career Fair also focuses on supporting and enhancing research skills of our students in grades 9th
and 11th as they engage in research on various topics relevant to the event. They are guided in
preparing scripts and presentations. These are then presented before students of grades 10th and
12th on the day of the fair. This experience not only enhances students’ knowledge but also helps
them overcome stage fright and build confidence in their public speaking abilities.
Throughout the event, students get a chance to broaden their horizons, identify potential career
paths, and connect with individuals who shared their knowledge and insights.

PARENTS’ ORIENTATION
“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success”
The role of parents in a child’s education cannot be overstated. Parent
engagement and collaboration are crucial for the holistic development of young learners.
Parent orientation session provides an opportunity for educators to build trust and rapport with
parents. Our school welcomes the parents into the educational setting and shares information
about the school’s vision, mission, values and teaching methodologies. It is an opportunity for
the parents to know about the activities of the school and to create a bond with the teachers,
as the school is a second home for their wards.
The orientations begin on a thought:
“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.”
A Parent Orientation Program familiarizes parents with the school’s
policies, procedures and expectation. This includes information about attendance, homework,
discipline, grading systems, extracurricular activities and more. By understanding these
guidelines, parents can better support their child’s educational resources journey and align
their efforts with the school’s objectives.
During orientations, we generally share the glimpses of our current year achievements,
curricular and extra- curricular activities and their role in the holistic development of
each child. This helps the parents to know the methodology, norms and the overall view of
the school performance.

STUDENT’S ORIENTATION
Orientation is a chance for students to learn how things work at their new
school and meet other students as well as faculty and staff members. Orientation is also a
chance for the school to start getting to know their student. Students become familiar with
their new home and its rules and expectations. The goals of the Orientation Programs are to
create student’s familiarity with the institution’s regulations and academic standards, acquaint
the students with their classmates and to learn about the members of the school that will help
students succeed.
At KMS, we strongly believe in the idea of building strong relationships as that’s the magic of
understanding small things and sustaining it for a lifetime.
TEACHER’S ORIENTATION
“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”.
A Teacher Orientation Program helps teachers become more confident and
capable. Our school provides teachers with teaching techniques, expanding learning opportunities
and ensuring quality education. Teachers are made familiar with school policies and procedures
to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Teachers receive a clear overview of the curriculum and the instructional strategies adopted by
the school. Orientation highlights the importance of professional learning communities and team
work. It addresses strategies for managing stress, achieving work-life balance. In conclusion,
the Teacher’s Orientation sets the foundation for a successful academic year by delivering
cocise and relevant information and providing necessary resources.
