COMMUNITY ACTIVITY

Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School actively promotes community involvement by engaging students in various meaningful initiatives. These activities aim to create awareness about important issues such as health, environment, and social responsibility. Students take part in spreading awareness about diseases, understanding the importance of vaccination, and connecting with the elderly and underprivileged through visits and donations. They also contribute to environmental sustainability by participating in plantation drives, reducing plastic use, and protecting local water bodies.

Waterborne Diseases Awareness

The school conducts awareness campaigns on mosquito-borne and waterborne diseases like Dengue and Malaria, educating students and families about prevention and safety measures.

Planting of Azolla

As part of its green initiatives, the school promotes the planting of Azolla in collaboration with TERI to help reduce carbon emissions and raise environmental consciousness.

Old Age Homes and Orphanages

Students visit old age homes and orphanages, donate essential items, and spend quality time with the residents, fostering empathy and social responsibility.

Eco Club Activities – Tide Turner Plastic Challenge

To combat plastic pollution, students participated in the Tide Turner Plastic Challenge, created eco-bricks, and organized cleanliness drives in and around the school.

Vaccination Drive During COVID

A smooth and well-organized vaccination drive was conducted for students born on or before 2007, ensuring protection against COVID-19 with support from parents and healthcare staff.

Van Mahotsav

The school celebrated Van Mahotsav with plantation drives, poster making, debates, and quizzes, instilling the importance of afforestation and a healthy environment.

Yamuna Bachao Abhiyaan

Students and teachers participated in the Yamuna Bachao campaign, conducting rallies and interacting with local communities to spread awareness about keeping the river clean and pollution-free.
