BUDDY SYSTEM
The Buddy System is a platform developed to foster peer-to-peer relationships between students. This system pairs individuals to work together, offering mutual support, guidance, and companionship. While commonly associated with childhood activities and safety measures, the buddy system extends far beyond, teaching the profound significance of mutual understanding and collaboration in our pursuit of success and personal development.Through the buddy system, relationships are nurtured and strengthened. The bonds formed often extend beyond the initial task or activity, developing into lasting friendships or professional networks that provide ongoing support and growth opportunities.By working with a buddy, individuals enhance their understanding of each other and unlock greater success through teamwork and support. The lessons learned from the buddy system resonate throughout our lives, reminding us of the power of collaboration and the value of meaningful relationships.

Peer Educator Programme
‘SAARTHI’
‘SAARTHI’ plays a key role in student support, with two trained Peer Educators from each class offering a safe space for peers to share and seek help. Trained by the school counselor, they assist in managing emotions, building self-esteem, and encouraging mindfulness.
Objective:- Create a safe, non-judgmental peer space
- Help resolve day-to-day challenges
- Promote emotional regulation and support
The Counseling Department supports this with tailored modules, worksheets, and presentations to enhance empathy, communication, and coping skills.
MENTORING AND ADOPTION OF A CHILD
“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.”
Oprah Winfrey
A child’s mentoring relationship has many lasting benefits, helping to boost confidence and self-esteem. Mentors not only teach valuable life lessons but also support and guide children in making important decisions.
At KMS, mentors assist students in making informed academic choices at every stage. They provide practical knowledge, act as positive role models, and help students build good attitudes and active listening skills. Mentors ensure each child receives quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
Our school management has adopted two children, offering them a nurturing space to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In higher classes, each teacher adopts students facing learning barriers or stress. These teachers support them in utilizing resources and managing their challenges. As mentors, we aim to deliver holistic education—instilling values, life skills, and knowledge beyond textbooks.
