ESSENCE OF WATER (2004)

“Today is your opportunity to build the tomorrow you want.” By keeping this thought in mind the school never misses an opportunity to inspire enthusiasm in its students by encouraging them to participate in the Republic Day Parade.

In 2004, the Republic Day Parade theme was Essence of Water in which our school actively participated. The dance enthusiasts of our school showed that The Universe is the amalgamation of five constituents i.e. Earth, Water, Fire, Sky and Air. For this outstanding performance our school was awarded Third Prize by Ministry of Defence , Government of India.

GOILA BAND (2005)

In 2005 the Girls Band of our school, the “Goila Band” played melodious and patriotic tunes on Republic Day Parade, 2005 at Rajpath, New Delhi and won the hearts and appreciation of the spectators.

GOGA PEER (2006)

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated”
By following the above quote our school once again got a chance to perform at National Level in 2006. Through a cultural item of folk dance “Goga Peer” tribute was paid to the warrior heroes of the region venerated as Saint and “Snake God”. In this event, our school earned the prestigious 1st position among the contingents of Delhi and secured the 3rd position at the National level. Our school got special honour from Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the then Defence Minister of India.

EKTA KI RANGOLI (2007)

“Unity is strength…. When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.”
By acknowledging this in 2007, our glorious school was selected as the only public school to perform on Ekta Ki Rangoli depicting Unity in diversity- the unity of all the seven colours presented in a rainbow.

TIRANGA SAKSHI HAI (2008)

Always be proud of the flag of our country as many people sacrificed their lives for its honor, each and every battle fought by an Indian was led by this flag and it is the strength of our Nation.
By keeping this thought in mind our school performed the patriotic cultural item “Tiranga Sakshi Hai” in the year 2008 at Rajpath. In this the participants were dressed up in tricolor- Green, White and Saffron.
Scaling every step of the success ladder carefully each year, at last we achieved our goal and grabbed 1st position at the All India level. Not only was this achievement of our school awarded the Best Costume but also the Best Choreography Award. For the event “Tiranga Sakshi Hai” our school received the glittering trophy from the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India, Shri A.K. Antony.

VIRAMHEEN PRAVAH (2010)

“Success has no full stop; it all depends on the efforts.”
With this moto our school performed Viraamheen Pravah in the year 2010 at Rajpath and secured 1st position in Delhi.

COMMON WEALTH GAMES (2010)

Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School extended its helping hand to ensure successful conduct of Common Wealth Games-2010 in Delhi by organizing promotional activities in school such as cultural arts and sports events etc. The ‘Mascot’ of CWG ‘SHERA’- a magnificent symbol of power and a destroyer of the evil forces visited our school. For the betterment of the masses, school organized a rally ‘Shera Mera Dost’ which was highly motivational and a source of spreading the spirit of making CWG a grand success. We conveyed the theme color of CWG through ‘Rangoli’ and ‘Poster Making’. A candid source of entertainment and effective medium of awakening the society, students of our school presented a street play based on the theme of CWG. To enliven first ever ‘Green Games’ and setting green standards for multi sports events, the students took part in various sports activities. Through Plantation of trees our school awakened the people of surrounding area about environmental hazards and making Delhi Clean and Green. Our school also organized ‘Sports Quiz’, ‘Poetry Recitation’ and ‘Sports Events to support CWG. Even our Pre-Primary and Primary wings came forward in this regard. The ‘Little Angels’ along with their parents took active part in awareness drive by reciting ‘Hum honge kamyab’ and ‘Vasudhev Kutumbakam’. They displayed their talents, imaginations, creation and thoughts in these activities. The symbol of brotherhood and friendship- ‘The Shera Ring’ was prepared by these tiny tots representing modern India.
Our students also participated in the Opening and Closing Ceremony of Common Wealth Games 2010 and gave wonderful dance performances.

PRAKRITI TUJHE PRANAM (2011)

Students of Kamal Model Senior Secondary School gave performance of cultural item titled ‘Prakriti Tujhe Pranam’ at Delhi State Republic Day celebration on 26th January 2011.

SATRANGI BHARAT (2012)

Students of Kamal Model Senior Secondary School presented ‘Satrangi Bharat’ at State level Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2012 held at Chhatrasal Stadium, New Delhi.

VANDE BHARAT (2022)

In the year 2022 India celebrated 75th year of Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotasva in which the students of Kamal Model Senior Secondary School along with the students selected from other reputed public schools performed fusion musical program consisting of 400 different mudras at Rajpath. It was indeed a very colorful and an enlightening performance. Students also utilized this opportunity to meet with children of other states. 50th YOUTH PARLIAMENT 2015

Our school organized Youth Parliament on 5th August 2015 to strengthen the roots of democracy, inculcate healthy habits of discipline and tolerance towards the views of others and also to enable the student community to understand the working of our Parliamentary institutions. Our students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in such Youth Parliaments.

54th YOUTH PARLIAMENT 2019

54th Youth Parliament 2019 was organized on 27th November at Kamal Model Senior Secondary School, New Delhi. The Chief Guest Shri Anurag Tripathi, Secretary, CBSE appreciated the concerted efforts of students and congratulated school for the successful execution of the event.

AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV

Various activities were conducted in school to celebrate ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The activities conducted inculcated in students the feeling of patriotism and love for their motherland.

11th AEROBATIC GYMASTICS ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP (2019)

Navjot Kaur got selected in the Junior Category for the 11th Aerobatic Gymnastics Asian Championship to be held at Tashkent Uzbekistan from 9th October to 12th October 2019.

INNOVATIVE BUSINESS IDEA (2022)

Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School participated in the Junior Skill Championship 2021, India’s first skill championship for school students held by National Skill Development Corporation in association with CBSE. In this competition, Sonali Mishra of class 12 secured 3rd position in the category of Innovative Business Idea. She was awarded a bronze medal and Rs. 20,000 as prize money for showcasing her extraordinary talent through four rounds of competition. On April 2, 2022 she was awarded in the presence of Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

PURULIA CHHAU

The students of our school showcased an impressive performance of ‘Purulia Chhau’ in the 2023 State Level Cultural Competition for Folk Group Dance (Girls). This dynamic dance form, known for its blend of martial arts, acrobatics, and athleticism, vividly portrayed a story inspired by Hindu epics. Their exceptional efforts earned them third place in the competition, along with the honor of advancing to the National Level.
